In February of 2006, Pastor Chad & Sarah Carter were inducted as the Senior
Pastors of a struggling ministry in southern Indiana.  After a great deal of prayer,
cleansing and hard work, Pastor Carter and the small congregation left the past
behind and moved forward for the Kingdom of God by bringing to life a brand new
ministry.  In July of 2006, Pastor Carter founded and organized Family Harvest
Church Global Ministries, and oversee each of its ministries, such as Family
Harvest Church, Family Harvest Christian Academy, Catch the Fire! Radio and
Television Broadcasts, the Family Harvest Food Bank and Community Clothing
Center, and the many other ministries and community outreaches of FHC

Pastor Carter received his call into the ministry and began preaching in 1993.
Since founding a ministry in southern Indiana, he has served full time as its
senior pastor, but continues intenerate ministry as often as possible.  Pastor

Pastor Carter's History

Pastor Carter was saved at the age of nine at a church-sponsored summer youth camp, and shortly after that, received the Baptism of the Holy Ghost. The Holy Spirit was at work even then, bringing him through much preparation for the ministry.

After many years of silent preparation by the Word of God, the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and continual involvement in ministry, Pastor Carter accepted his call into the ministry at the age of seventeen.  He preached his first message one month later, and his first series of Revival services later that year.

During this time, Pastor Carter was still very active in his own local church and filled various positions over the years, such as Worship Leader, Sunday School Teacher, Audio Coordinator, Local Church Clerk (Records), and Correspondence Bible Training Course Instructor, among others.  He also served in other ministry areas throughout his affiliation, filling positions such as Summer Youth Camp Counselor, Summer Youth Camp Worship Leader, Revival Minister, and Conference Speaker. For four years, from 1993 till 1997, Pastor Carter served as the Regional Youth Ministries Director for a mainline international denomination, serving the youth departments for the states of Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky. In 1996 and 1997, he served at the organization's Annual World-Wide General Assembly by coordinating and conducting certain praise and worship services.

In 1998, a major change began to take place in the life of Chad and Sarah Carter when Pastor Carter was ordained by Pastor Rod Parsley and World Harvest Church into the World Harvest Church Ministerial Fellowship. The impartation of Pastor Parsley's anointed ministry caused a tremendous impact on Pastor Carter, his family and his ministry.  As a result, the Carters relocated to Columbus, Ohio for continual involvement in World Harvest Church.

In September of 2000, at the 5th Annual "Raise the Standard" Pastors' & Church Workers' Conference," Pastor Parsley honored Pastor Carter, among others, by placing upon him a "Mantle of Impartation." This Mantle of Impartation symbolized the Sword of Ministry that Pastor Parsley received by the laying-on-of-hands of Dr. Lester Sumrall, which he received through the ministry of Smith Wigglesworth and Howard Carter.  Pastor Parsley has passed this Mantle on to many others in this generation, and Pastor Carter is privileged to be numbered among them.  By the laying-on-of-hands of Pastor Parsley, Pastor Carter received this same impartation, and was blessed to be adopted into the spiritual lineage of these great men of God (Spiritual Genealogy).

Pastor Carter continues to travel and spread the Good News of the Gospel of Christ wherever the Lord opens the door. His services are power-packed with the anointing of the Holy Ghost as he ministers through song and the preaching of the Word. He ministers with zeal and conveys a sense of urgency to make sure that personal preparation has been made for the soon return of the Lord Jesus Christ. His preaching emphasizes holiness, sanctification, and Spirit-led living, and encourages those who already have a relationship with God to deepen it with the Baptism of the Holy Ghost.

Pastor Carter allows the Holy Spirit to flow and operate freely as He desires through each of his services. The Gifts of the Spirit flow freely in his ministry and it is not uncommon to witness demonstrations of the Spirit take place. Hearts are touched, lives are changed, needs are met, and the bound are supernaturally set free by the power of God. Times of healing and deliverance are common and the working of the Holy Ghost upon those present is evident... some make their way into the altars, some stand in their seats and weep in the presence of God, while others fall to the ground under the weight of God's glory. Many respond in different ways, but all know they've been in the presence of the Lord.

Pastor Carter operates Family Harvest Church and Chad Carter World Ministries from Salem, Indiana, where he resides with his lovely wife Sarah, and their two children, Kelsie and Cole.
